Courtney DeKlotz NP, Injection Specialist

Ask Courtney about her work and she’ll tell you, “I love everything about this field: the science, the anatomy, and making people feel good about themselves!” Courtney started as a client at Georgous Aesthetic Bar. She recognized how different it was from other med spas or clinics. The expert team took extra time during a thorough consultation to learn more about her. Courtney was fascinated to discover the science behind the treatments recommended to her and had never experienced such an in-depth look at skincare.

As Courtney continued to ask questions, Georgia took the opportunity to mentor and teach. Courtney became Georgous Aesthetic Bar’s first intern, working under Georgia to learn procedures, products, and most importantly, anatomy and skill.

Beca

Beca Perez, LE, CLT, Aesthetician

Beca is a California native, born in Los Angeles and lived there until she was 9 years old. Her Dad decided it was time to uproot her family to Lenexa, Kansas so they could live a much quieter life without the hustle and bustle of LA. While she still considers herself a Los Angelean at heart, she's grown to love Kansas City and made it her forever home. She has been a makeup enthusiast since the young age of 3, and she has the pictures to prove it. Her love for everything beauty was fueled by her mothers obsession with skincare and makeup. Beca started doing makeup amateurly on her friends and family at 18, which in turn became her profession and something she wanted to pursue full time. Realizing that being a makeup artist full time wouldn't pay the bills, she decided to make it a side job while she worked a regular 9-5. Knowing that a desk job wasn't going to keep her fulfilled, she kept the passion she had for beauty alive by taking clients on the weekends. Then Covid-19 happened, she began to reevaluate her life and decided that after lockdown she didn't want to return to her desk job and decided to enroll in Esthetician school in Manhattan, KS. She had always wanted to learn more about the anatomy of the skin and skincare ingredients, not only to boost her resume as an MUA but Beca has struggled with chronic acne since 18. She wanted to know how to help her skin but also felt this passion to help others with theirs. She attended Esthetician school at the height of the pandemic, and after 10 months of hard work and tears she graduated in 2021 with her Esthetician's license. In the spring of 2022, she attended NLI's Laser course so she could gain knowledge on everything lasers, was granted an Esthetician license by the state of Missouri, and began working at Georgous Aesthetic bar surrounded by like minded skincare professionals who have the same passion as her for helping people look and feel better in their skin.

In her free time, Beca will probably be found with her pup child, Sasha, a needy English Foxhound that she rescued from KC Pet Project. If she's not with Sasha, you can find her at Pilates, spending time with her friends and family, or scrolling through TikTok and Instagram. During her downtime, she loves making mini home videos on TikTok of her life spent with friends and family. She loves trying all the new restaurants and bars popping up every day in the city. She is a big Lakers fan, and loves soccer as well. She is a big music enthusiast, specifically, Beyonce, Harry Styles, Drake and many others. At work, if she's not in the treatment room, she can be found helping at the front desk, making content, or helping Georgia make dancing TikTok's.

Beca strives to give her patients the best care possible. She knows that if her patients leave her treatment room with a bright smile and relaxed shoulders, she's done her job right. She wants her patients to feel comfortable and as if she is a safe space for them, where they can leave their troubles at the door and come in and decompress. She hopes to make her patients feel comfortable in their skin like her esthetician did when she began her skincare journey.
